I know it doesn't make any sense at all but think about it. He has their stickers on his skis, and a super pro like him doesn't just go around putting stickers of any company on their skis like us normal folk. Plus, at his invitational thing, there were all these osiris signs on the rails and stuff. I don't see much of a point of the sponsership, but then again, you almost always see him skateboarding in his segments and there is a lot of it in Rastafaride. I know it sounds crazy but think of it.

Candide is such a sick skier, skater and from what I have heard snowboarder. Is is one of the most looked up skiing pros today. Osiris probably wants any well regognized pro. to represent their company, and Candide is doing it.

Ya i get it now, i was just thinking how skateboarding is probably the most popular and profitable sport, some big company like osiris wouldn't bother with a not so popular sport such as skiing(unfortunatly it is true). so i think that is cool. And he is NOT a good enough skateboarder to get sponsered. I don't care what anyone says a kickflip to rock and roll on a 3 foot mini ramp is not gonna get you sponsered.

He's sponsered for his skiing, not his skating. Same reason all the pro snowboarders are sponsered by Osiris, DVS, Globe, etc. even if they dont skate. It's just another market for Osiris to sell shoes to.
