If you haven't yet, check out the Noise page. Read the reply to the letter called Positively Wrong.

Ah i love high tech scanners...
Here it is..............................
POSITIVELY WRONG
After reading your article, Over the Line,” (October, 2006)1 was deeply disturbed. Skiing at any
evel is dangerous, as every skier knows. It is up to each individual to determine where his line is
drawn. Progression in our sport stems from people pushing each other and taking risks. Having
confidence is your greatest asset — think it, see it, bust it. By printing an article like this, you only slow the momentum everyone has been gaining over the
past 10 years. Such negative press might cause some people to second-guess themselves (not me of
course). We all appreciate a person like Doug Coombs, who drew lines in the snow that few of us
could imagine. I doubt he had many regrets in his life, and in passing.
I enjoy reading your mag, but let’s keep it positive. Motocross has similar consequences to skiing,
I haven’t seen any of their mags telling riders that they are going to far. Everyone has to go
sometime, might as well do it with your boots on.

I can always tell when my dog, Bart, has swiped the butter of of the kitchen counter. After he shits in
the yard, he drags his butt around on the grass for about a minute. I feel like I should offer him some toilet
paper, but he has no thumbs.
