Vaughan Mills is the shit, so many outlet stores, whenever I trek out there I always find the best deals on shoes from either the nike, adidas, or reebok outlet stores. And if your into jerseys, Millenium Sports has like every jersey for every sport.

it's not cool to get stuff of that quality for so cheap.... the only way it could be that cheap is if the exploited women and children in producing them in poor and unmaintained working conditions with far less than adequate pay... now we are all guilty of buying good like this at some point in our lives... but the point is to try and stop that type of treament in our global society. and buying at outlet stores only lets these companies know that you dont care about those poorly treated people either. oakley eyewear is great, and its all made in the USA... but the clothing comes from a despicable means...

hahahahahahahah "QUALITY FOR SO CHEAP", this is how i know ur branded, to make that stuff is dirt cheap man, the only reason why "oakley, element, volcom ect ect." cost so much is because of the logo, these outlet stores sell these items for dirt cheap because a lot of the stuff is discontinued stuff/ (i forget how to say it) but over stock stuff that they just want to get rid of, and they are still making a profit off it.

This is the first time Ive heard an argument against outlet stores, and I guess in some ways you make a legitimate point (companies dont have to worry about overproduction if excess stock can be sold enmass for less money) but do not even try to trick yourself into thinking these companies will alter their ethical principles based on the sales of an outlet store. Millions of dollars have been invested in factories and infastructure in industrial second-third world countries, and while they may not be working in standarized north american conditions, they are safer and getting paid alot more than working the rural jobs they were previous. I have spent time visiting third world factories, and they contribute to the internal economy of small cities more than you'd expect, so don't forget to look at the other side of coin before you shove it down our throats.

no... but i recall saying we are all guilty of it... and i havent bought a piece of sweatshop made clothing in now 2 years unless it was second hand at value villiage or something of that sort... but every new article of clothing i have bought in 2 years has been sweatshop free and most of the time i buy organic as well. but thanks for the personal attack. :)

thank you for at least reading and understanding my point.. it is very appreciated because it doesnt happen often. and i do understand the whole point that those countries have smaller economies and therefore if people were payed more right away it would crash thier economy because the value of thier currency would shrink to nothing and inflation would be huge.. but the least the companies could do is make the working conditions better, my friend actually visited the oakley factory in thailand 2 years ago and used to be a huge oakley fan, but came back from that trip and wont touch a single oakley product because of what he saw. the point is if the workers were paid a better wage it would allow just the parent to work so that the kids could go to school instead of working as well. its not like its something that can happen over night... but if people start to phase out those big brands that treat workers so badly.. eventually they will have to start doing something... So basically i know where you're coming from but I personally refuse to support that kind of treatment and i dont get why people do simply for a brand name because its not like thier shirts are better than any other companies.
