It would be a great way to do a sort of background check on somebody, like to let them into a cult or not, I'm all for it.

Plus it erases if you click on the thread. And then finding a topic that you posted in maybe a few days ago, that isn't brand new anymore, it is nearly impossible to find, unless you remember the title of the thread.
