SPK boot owners: super n00bzor question

so my spk boots just came (woot!), and where do you guys put the strap from the liner? do you just run it under the cuff and let it dangle??

i always put it under the plastic cuff, because it cuts down on shin bang for me. I may be wierd.

there is a spot to tuck it in on the boot, if you are talking about the draw string, on the outside of the boot there is a little pocket to slide it in.
look at the liner, and where it is black, white and red, there is a patch on the outside of the boot that is white, you can tuck it in there

Putting on Salomon SPK Boots for n006's

Step 1

Undo all buckles and fasteners.

Step 2

Slide foot into boot.

Step 3

Pull liner draw string.

Fasten liner draw string.

Step 5

Fasten all buckles.

Step 6

Tuck liner draw string into boot inbetween liner and shell on the outside of the boot.

Step 7

Fasten velcro strap.

Repeat steps 1 through 7 for other foot.

bahaha nice try, definately clever idea, but you actually didn't tuck it into the right lil pocket thing. And it works way better if you put the velcro strap under the cuff. IMO

aight but if you start to get shin bang try puttin it inside, it lets you tighten it really good and get a nice snug fit that will help prevent shinbang really well. although the cuff on these boots is really thin so it probably doesn't make as big a difference as with other boots.
