Firefox 2.0 +WMP=?

I know this is a problem for all Firefox users so please help me. The newer Firefox 2.0 needs specific plug-ins to have Windows Media Player work. I have WMP11 installed on my system but I need the plug-in to activate it. I am running Windows XP just to let you know. I installed the Greasemonkey plug-in in hope that it would work. So far it has done nothing and doesn't fix my problem. I wish I could download a previous version of FF so I wouldn't have to deal with this shit. The newer IE7 has some of the same features but I just don't like the setup and simplicity that FF supplies. Its too crowded. Anyways I'm sure you get the point. So if anyone has downloaded a plug-in that works in association with FF 2.0 and WMP11 then please post the link. Thanks.

you mean it works with flashplayer media and the like? try watching videos from this site.

yea, the videos work. but the resolution always gets messed up in wmp+firefox...that, i haven't been able to figure out.
