So I need some new bindings. Which would be better? I'm 140 pounds, so I think the z12 should hold up, but I've heard they are cheap and break easily. Any thoughts?

I dont know man...Ive heard that the new Zline is completely redone from the old salomon bindings, especially in the toe piece. Not to mention that they are the lightest bindings in the market and dont quote me but i think they are a full pound lighter than the scratch 120s. I just bought z10s all white, they look pimp but we will see how they ski

WHAT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
Ok kids here is my experience:
The rossi 120 binding is the most durable binding I have ever owned. I have skiied hard on them for 3+ years, and they have never had one single problem whatsoever. I have had them on 3 different pair of skis and I still love them as much as when I bought them. I have had two pairs Salomon s912 tis during the same time. both pairs slowly lost forward pressure and needed to be readjusted. The track on one pair stripped out and was done.
So The new Z12s are the shittiest looking binding I have ever seen. They have the crappiest plastic ever, and feel like toys. My friend just bought a pair this year (they were ridiculously expensive) On our fourth day out ( have been out with him while he has skiied these every time so I know what they have gone through) the wings on one of the toe pieces broke off. Just straight up cracked off during a fall. Examining the binding after they broke and it confirmed that these are the shittiest hollow bindings I have ever seen.
Do not buy buy the salomon z12 binding unless you are a 95 pound anorexic female, or you like shelling out mad dough for shit that is definitely gonna break if you ski hard.
To put things in perspective: my rossi 120s were about 200 bones and they lasted 3 years so far, the z12 4 days and they are over 200 bones! MY 4frnt 614s which are bomber as shit 200 bones brand new! There is so much better bindings than the z12 for the money, just don't buy them please.

Go on the side of caution and get Rossis, its a proven fact that they are a sick and durable binding. Let some other people try the new Sollys and find out if all the hype is for real.

Yeah...I don't know about durability...but the definitely ARE light.
I checked the stats.
A pair of Z12 Ti's is TWO POUNDS lighter than a pair of Axial 2 120 Ti's.
TWO F'ING POUNDS LESS.
