Hey, has anyone here ever skied the new Big Trouble. I wanted to get a really good fat powder ski this year, that will still handle nicely on groomed runs, and in the park if it has to. I am really working on my tricks in the BC. I am 5'11" and 175 lbs. I really want a nice twin that I can ski a steep face with very few turns, and at the same time huck switch landing tricks off of cliffs. If it doenst handle park 100% great I dont care, because I arleady have some trouble makers. What do you think about the Big Trouble if you have ridden it (I was originally going to get the Scratch BC WRS or the Gotama off of proform, but they are back ordered till like January, so I am trying to find an alternative).

Yea, they are nice skis good all around. nice backcountry ski and not bad for some steeper stuff as well, mind you they are not going to charge as well as the gots or the legends.

I've been told that they're comparable to the 06 Seth Vicious. Can anybody confirm this?

thanks for the info 720skiguy...they were back ordered for a while and peoples stuff was rejected I guess, but if they got a ton, then we are good. Now that I have been thinking about the Big Trouble...It has made the decision harder. What would you all get

Yep I've skied them. Mind you, it was during the summer at whistler, but I ripped around on them and they are so solid. I skied the upper face above High North, which is pretty steep and was full of slough and the skis felt magical. I'd recommend.

This years are identical to last years. Last year I was lucky enough to ski them in a 186 for a month. I was using them as an all-around ski. Personally, I loved them. I was normally using Scratch BC's 04'05 and I definatly did not want to go back to them. They were rediculasly noodle and gross feeling. The BT seemed pretty stiff for me, but I'm somewhat light for my height, (155, and 6'1)And as far as stomping shit switch in soft snow, they definatly did the job, well compared to my Scratchs. If you're intending on using them as an bomber ski for going as fast as possible, and for mainly powder/ big mountain. you'll love them in a 186, even at your height.

Not at all. Someone was cracked out and talkin out their ass when they said this. You can tell they are way different even before you ski them. The Seths have always favored deep pow with their super soft tip, and in turn sacrificed a little all mountain/all conditions handling, especially at high speeds, in favor of this.
