Replying to Last years look bindings are better than this years

i got my new skis today. scrtach fs wrs. i wanted look bindings, but was disappointed when i saw them. this year they have there heel pieces on a track like a normal binding, instead of having there pivot technology on front and back. the awesome advantage to having that heel piece is, when you land switch and your leaning back, the heel piece will stay in place, instead of in normal bindings where the heel piece is on a spring so it would pull back, in turn realsing you from the toe piece and eating shit. so we went through the trouble of tracking down a 05/06 look binding that was 275$. this binding is a race consrtuced binding, but is exactly the same as the freestyle besides this one has a din up to 12. he actually said the binding i got is used by pros in comps sometimes too.

so do you guys think it was necisary finding this binding? i think the technology they used was so sick and that they shouldnt havce dropped it
