im taking a trip to British Columbia in march of 07, should i look for some cheap fat skis? or do u think my 04 skogens would do fine? and if any of you have info on cheap fat skis, please send me a message. thx
I Ride Fat Twins. psyche! I live in MN. No Pow here. Sorry Bro. go with some ARV's or some MSP's or somethin not tooo fat. unless ur extreme. i bet u r.
if your looking for something 2nd hand, theres always plenty of scratch bc's about - the old ones that were 88 at the waist. theyre good in pow, but good park and all mtn if the snows not deep.
i live in bc and if u have park skis they wont work..lots of the time we have a shit load of powder..like u should borrow some fat skis of your friends..but really its not worth buying new skis jujst to come to bc..like i think u will be okay on your skogens but u will have way mroe fun a fat skis!
I heart run-on sentances.
And always sound just so darn stoked Cooper!
But yeah, I live with this kid^, and a fat ski would make it more fun, but maybe not worth it. (Completely depending on the money you have.) Maybe it would be an investment if you're planning more trips out west in the near future. But yeah, you'd manage on you're Skogens fina and dandy, but could be alot more funa nd rewarding on some nice fat ones.
Rent them ...demo a few different types. Have fun with it...march in BC is usually heavy, but never guarunteed. It could just as easily be hard packed windy and frozen, or 50-degrees and sunny.
