Looking for a Vid. Camera

Ok so im looking for a video camera. The things im interested in are quality, price, and semi easy to use and operate. It doesnt have to be something directed towards complete beginners but just something thats not too difficult. Oh and this will be used for making ski edits, promos etc. So basically if theres a camera that you know of that is a good balance of those things...let me know. Thanks

I would buy Panasonic.If you dont wanna spend alot of money get one of the GS series.If you want to spend twice as much money as that get the dvc30.If you want to spend alot for a very good quality camera that will take a while to get the hang of unless u know how to use 3ccd cameras then get the dvx100.You cant go wrong with Panasonic.

i have the panasonic gs500 and its perfect for starting out and not looking like your parents camera, upgrade to a fisheye or wide angle lens and make a handle and follow cams will be set, i bought my camera from www.beachcamara.com for like 679 and it does almost what alot of other 3ccd cameras do..hope that helps
