My input to the NS site.....what to fix / enforce

Here are just a few things ive noticed , and thought others might have the same feelings for.
- No bumping old threads unless you have something new to add that is relevant....or has useful input.
- Don't post stupid-ass links to fake sites that add you points for and I-pod or other free shit.
- Search, search, search.... NS has been around for a while, chances are someone else has asked the same question has you elsewhere.
- Don't post more than one thread with the same info or questions, bump up your old one if its terribly important, and if no one answers, then look elsewhere. Mods should be able to just delete threads if there are re-posts and such.
- Before you post, make sure the grammar you are using can pass 4th grade english class. I get real tired of reading shit "Posteed lik Diz, Yo!"
-I think mods should take more action with members, delete useless posts, and not have to delete entire threads. Warn members, Ban members who violate rules, or at least suspend them according to what they do.
- Lastly, i think there should be an Edit button or link that enables to you correct a previous post you made, or edit it, such as if you no longer have stuff for sale that you posted earlier.
Not sure what everyone else thinks, but thought i'd just put that out there.

I realize some of this stuff may have been discussed sometime before me, but these are just all issues that I wanted to comment on.....

Hey buddy don't forget to Search, Search and Search. Everything you have said already been beat to death here. Thanks for another "could of just scrolled down and read the same shit" thread.
- Search, search, search.... NS has been around for a while, chances
are someone else has asked the same question has you elsewhere.

If it has been posted so many times before, why arent mods aiding to eliminate these problems. I know some are more difficult than others, but at least try some of it, and if it doesn't work out the way as planned, at least it was an attempt.

I think the problem with the search is that only looks at thread titles. If the thread with the answer has a title with nothing to do with the question or answer, it won't be found.

Hahah you act like this is suppose to be a perfect website. We are fucking skiers, we are lazy, and we are careless. Get the fuck over it. If you want a good forum go to some gaming shit, I'm sure you'll like it there. NS is perfect how it is, period.

Its all been discussed here, a shitload. Its all basically not going to happen. Grammar or lackthereof is the heartbeat of this website. Reposts are gonna happen with this much material and a shit-ton of threads that have random ass titles. And dont get me going on mods. Thos guys come on NS and work, thats something most people would never think of. They have their hands full eneough, cut em a break. Better yet, hug a mod.

Mods eliminating these problems? How about you use a little of your own advice, and use the mo-fuckin-searchbar. Do you realize how many times an edit button has been discussed, and how many times we've said NO!

take some of your own advise and use the god dam search bar. The edit feature has been discused over and over and every time we say no. If you could edit all your posts after you make them what would be the point of posting at all

you tell people to search but then dont want them to bump old threads? it makes more sense to bump an old thread about something that you want info on than to make a new thread and start from scratch.

NS is great as it is and is always getting better. seems like you are taking this a tad too seriously, its the internet not a job. Just have fun. Also people make mistakes just like you did by not searching but good thinking. I'm glad to see some people still want improvements and keep the site going instead of destroying it like aliases and stuff

Maybe its just me, but it seems like searching to see what other people have said about these same issues i have just discussed is pretty pointless... I'd rather voice my opinion and let the mods know what i feel about the site (and yes i know they do alot for the NS community, but you can't tell me they don't want suggestions). I'd rather create this new thread with all the topics i mentioned, rather than searching and bumping up a bunch of old ones just to say " I agree"........

Here is what you have to say about that:
- Search, search, search.... NS has been around for a while, chances
are someone else has asked the same question has you elsewhere.
- Don't post more than one thread with the same info or questions, bump
up your old one if its terribly important, and if no one answers, then
look elsewhere. Mods should be able to just delete threads if there are
re-posts and such.

i like how you said "bump a thread unless it has new info."
but then you said not to make a new thread just bump it.
CONFLICT!
