Third Party Batteries are fine. They're usually cheaper and they work fine, just make sure you're not buying the 5$ ones that look like they were soldered by a mexican slave.

buy your batteries off ebay man. i got a 6 hour for my canon optura 10 for 7.98US. works like a charm. never had any problem with it and it relaly does hold its 6 hours. battery retails for 229US
