ok, so i know a lot of us have these boots so my question to all of you is this, how do you keep your freakin' toes warm in these things. i thought my toes were going to fall off by the end of the day today! so help me out. it was a cold day here in colorado today but i cant stand to do this the rest of the year.

Keep your core (aka torso area) warm and your legs warm and it will help keep your toes warm.

yea keep the rest of your body warm and then your heart can focus on keeping your toes warm. or something like that.

does keeping your core warm matter that much?

they might be custom fit, but circulation is the deciding factor in keeping your toes warm. Cold toes nine times out of ten means bad circulation which means your boot is pinching somewhere. If they're new ride them a few more days and they should break-in. If they don't take them back to the shop and have a fun shell grinding sesh.

so if i have riden them 16 days should i go get them ground? i did just get a riser put in under my footbed to take care of a bunch of extra toe box space. you think thats the problem?

My Rampages were cold as fuck last year too man, and I dunno if it had that much to do with circulation, cause they didn't pinch me or anything, and weren't cold except in the toebox... overall I think that boot is just fuckin' cold, if I were you I'd get some of those battery powered heating insoles and stick them under your footbeds, or have your shop integrate them into some footbeds. That'd be the way to go.

Keeping the core warm does make huuuge difference.
I have Kryptons, and they are kind of tight on my toes too, I am thinking of taking them to a shop to have them worked a bit around the toes o get a bit of extra space.
I am broke however... So money is a limiting factor.
How much does bootwork usually cost?

there is almost no material in the toe box of that liner. I have the krypton pros and they have the same problem. im hoping some heated insoles will help out.

the warmer your core is the warmer the blood flowing to your feet is so yea that works, and try silk sock liners maybe? they're super thing and super warm I've worn them by themselves and been fine in the middle of winter. heated insoles would probably suck, and if your boots really are custom fitted wouldn't you have some kind of custom insole?

nah I've never really had a problem with them they are kinda stretchy and tight fitting so as long as you get the right size they wont bunch up.

if you need foot warmers, your boots dont fit right.
Take them back, andmake them fit you properly.
word to the wise:"just because its custom, doesnt mean its going to fit."

1. make sure the boots fit correctly, if they are too tight your feet will probably get cold
2. waer ski socks
3. if its a cold day wear a bunch of layers and a hat (you lose heat to your head and core. if they are warm your body can keep your toes and fingers warm too).

Seriously, just get some heated insoles, I doubt it's cause of a bad fit, the toebox is just not very thick at all, and so it's hella cold.

cayenne pepper on your toes. make sure to do it very carefully, if you get pepper all in your sock up your leg, your whole leg is gonna itch. the pepper will iritate your toes causing higher blood circulation. believe me it works.
