i was peruising the world wide web tonight and found these guys, i think they are relatively new, cause some of their site is still under construction, but anywho, they say they can take any ski, and customize them with colors graphics, whatever, i guess, which would definatley be pretty sweet depending on the additional cost to a new pair of skis, and if the shit stays on them through beatings and whatnot, so anyone know anything else, are they the first people to do this?
the site says nothing. The only thing they could do would be to delam the ski, put a new graphic on, and relaminate. Any kind of painting over the top of the topsheet won't work.
i thought it was gay unitl i read that you can get any brand and then they just put a new graphic on it. it sounds like a cool idea for some people, just not something i would be interested in. companies put graphics on there ski in the first place, just ride em like that.
thats definantly my friend. im not sure if i would trust him if i were you. he's not the greastest skier and i think he thinks he's making alot cooler graphics then he actually is. i mean its a good idea but im not even sure he's done one pair yet. if you want me to czech anything out say so
I'm going to be honest here: That is some of the worst flash work I have ever seen in my life, and if their graphic design skills are anything like their flash skills, then the skis are going to look half assed.
I realize that pretty harsh to say but the web site is a bad first impression.
