I am thinking about getting a pair of these but wanna hear what you guys think. I have checked the search bar but it seems no one has actually skied on these yet...
So has anyone actually gotten the chance to ski these yet? If so what are they like?

i'm glad to see salomon actually went with wood on them instead of that shitty foam thing they try to pass off as a core

the foam core seems to be doing fine in the spks......everyone has been killing it on them

do you really think salomon's team is riding the same ski that you will buy from a shop? most teams will customize a ski, and throw a graffic on it that looks like a ski in their mass produced line, just like line does with pollard, he rides skis that are a similar flex to the bacons but are 150 underfoot, not something available to the public

ok dude....get off the pedistol.....i bought my foam cored SPKs from peter olenicks roomate.....they are the skis that peter rode during the summer and shit .....and they are foam cored same shit released to the public.....so why dont you jump off the soapbox and stop wasting peoples time....just becasue line makes a totally different ski for their riders dosent mean every company and every pro skier is riding a ski thats not available to the public...aight

orrrr the pros get many many pairs, so the effect isn't noticable? I know of a couple of people who have ridden the spks since last winter (one pair mind you) and they die. No myth

yea that could be true but to say that every pro has a ski that isnt released to the public blah blah is just a crock of shit

Sadly, Salomon is pretty bad when it comes to seeing one ski in the movies and buying another. Every 1080 Gun you saw last year (the orange and blueish grey one) was actually a 1080 Gun Lab. The actual ski the pros rode, was the same as the Gun Lab, but it was graficized differently. Likewise, MOST of the Guns you see pros on this year are foam and titainium conctruction, and allot the Foils and SPK's are wood cored. The Dumont is not a true wood core, but that wood like foam you see in certain pencils. It is made with wood, but not actually wood. The only general public ski in Salomons line with a traditional wood core is the X-Wing Fury.
