hd hard disk drive... i dont know how the hard disk drive actually works. iver heard its better for photos, but not really for video.. and when uploading to the computer do you lose some of the quality? please fill me in with some details of the two.

id go with the miniDV one especially if you have a deck for miniDV's. i dont trust the hard drive thing but then again, i dont know a lot about them.
