Replying to Vermont vs. California

Alright, so I have a friend whose a snowboarder, but he sucks and he's pretty stupid. pretty much one of those deuchebags that thinks he knows everything. Well he is from San Diego, and he was trying to tell me that Vermont Has some sweet pow and steeps that I would be impressed with, growing up in cali/oregon. I thought for a moment and replied with a big BULLSHIT. Now I know I'm probobly right(I'm usually right) but I just want some feedback from people who have actually been to Vermont.
