Something that should have gotten more props...

I don't know why nobody talked about this...
...Candide didn't get enough props for his run at the X-games slopestyle. He switched onto the Huge flat rail(which noone else did) everything else he did was smooth...and then at the bottem hit He threw a huge switch underflip 720 oppisite tailgrab (no one else is doing switch underflips, to me that is the craziest trick right now), and it look good...he had no flailing action going on! I definetly think he deserved a medal...anybody have anything to say about this?

Yeah, I would agree he should have medaled, but his 180 over the transfer was a little sketchy. However, compared to Pep's run (However, the big 0 spin was sweet), I think he was considerably better.

tanner tried a under 9 off the 'money booter' he ate shit right? and candide's transfer gap was nice, i liked it. it looked like he was jus gonna straight air it and and the last second he pulled that 180, takes a lot of body control to do that on a jump that size. and candide hit the huge gatekeeper switch? is that the rail your talkin about? i thought steele spence was the only one to touch that thing.

fuck yea it was, i was talkin with someone there they said he boosted way over the landing, and yea candides run was sick, the 1 was sketch but it took skill to get it around like he did, and didnt he fall on the switch underflip 7, i remember him over rotating and slippin

ugh, does anybody remember how shitty the conditions were too? definitely some weird judging in the slopestyle.. if yours one of the many fuckfaces on this site who hate tanner fro soem reason.

yeah it was really cloudy and shitty and it looked nasty out. did tanner do an under 9 to eat shit? i rememebr the commentator sayin 'ohh the underflip!' as he was in mid air. then he got to 9, landed, and ate shit on a death cookie.

I think Tanner deserved first...and everyone else that place did really awsome too. I just remeber Candides run blow me away...more than any other run.

Tanner did a masive switch cork 9 to stomp in the flats basicly.

Maybe the judges didn't like the fact that the only grab candide did the whole time was a tail grab.

The first time I saw Pep's run, I thought maybe he should have been 4th or 5th too, but then after watching a few times, I think the judges did a great job. Unatural spins, true tails, zero spins, it was a great run.
