i moved out as soon as i graduated highschool like the day after. you'll never want to go back once you leave believe me i am back for the first time in two years and luckily i am moving back out tomorrow.

i haven't done it myself but i could tell you it's hella expensive, but it'd be fun at the same time

the hardest part for me is money. cause i attend classes i cant work 40 hours or get paid decent money. it is hard being away from family but as long as you got good friends you will be just fine.

17 sounds a little young, but whatever. My advise is to move out with close friends. Thats what I did. We are like a family. Almost everyone I know that just moved out with random people ended up hating their roomies. Having a girl in the house is key. Girls like to clean toilets. Doing chores is a shocker at first. You'll have a mountain of dirty clothes and be like 'what the fuck... oh yeah I gotta do that'. You'll spend a lot more time cooking and cleaning than you want to. A dishwasher is also crucial. I lived my first 8mos. without one and it SUCKED royal dick. The freedom rules though. you can come home at 3am and blare music, drink beer in the shower, have hot wings for breakfast, bang skanky hos on the kitchen table, you no longer have to hide your porn stash and smoke cigars in the house. enjoy!

I've been in college for a year and when I go home it's so hard. I had been ready to move out for awhile and when I went it was pretty natural for me. But going home is so tough with rules and parents again. Even if they're like, be home by two, which is reasonable usually, you're still pissed because you're not used to it.

ya its kind of hard at first just dont give up, go get some good friends and just hang otu with them a bunch. once you live on your own you wont want to go back, this is my first summer back from college and im not liking it so much

nothing beets bbq-ing a steak and sitting down to eat with a beer while you watch hockey in your own place. its a good feeling.
