Replying to :The Fountain: Aronofsky's New Film

Darren Aronofsky (director of "Requiem for a Dream") came out with his new movie today "The Fountain". I just got back from the theater and all I have to say is WOW. I was a little skeptical of the concept for the movie but Aronofsky did an absolutely amazing job. Every aspect was perfectly done: the plot, the cinematography, the point of views, the editing, the actors and the abstract way of conveying all of these. I thought this film would have been a little more Hollywood-ized but it was not at all. I actually walked out of the theater and had no idea what to say just because I was in awe.

In this world of ours that produces so many terrible and pointless movies it is great to see a film, and truly a film, that makes you think passed normal thought and is presented in such a beautiful way. We really need more directors like Aronofsky.
