I'd just like to have one thread where everyone can show their creativity.  I don't know about other people, but I'm always making up little rhymes and remixes to songs I hear, and I'd like to see what other come up with.  Doesn't have to be ski-related or anything, feel free to post any type of poem or w/e you want.

I'll start it off with an 2 old remixes from about two years ago to 50 cent's 'Candy Shop':

I'll take you to the auto shop.
Escalade with the four inch drop.
Rims spinnin like they'll never stop.
Don't touch it cause damn it's hot! Ohhhhh!

I'll take you to the barber shop.
I'll shave a little off the top.
On the floor your hair will drop.
Keep cutting till the razor stop, Bzzzzzzzzz


as uncool as they may be, this is just a small example of what i like to do.  If more people post, i'll bring out some of my other stuff.

yea lol, that's the whole point.  i want anything you have.  it doesn't have to be rhyming poerty, it can be anything you have.  hell you could even post a short story or something that means a lot to you.  serious, or not, i want to see the creativity people have.

if some more people post, i'll put up my "I wanna fuck you." remix.

haha i used to be big into writing raps and freestyling i havent done anything in a while here is an old one i never finished

Beat biting is wack shit like street figting with gats and full clips
Something you should get beat for you walking donw the street boom boom you on the street floor
Real emcees will end your life with a gun a knife or even a mic
Real lyrically killas spit real shit with real beats like quality meats and no fillers

so If you’re biting my beats than your shit is wack so if you’re biting my sound you gonna get clapped and if you’re fronting to me you gonna see what happens when you front to real emcees

so if me and my crew catch ya fronting on front street you betta run cause yo ass gonna get beat
and I aint saying I am gonna do it but if you know my crew they wont be afraid to step to it
and I hope you understand I aint saying I am better than you but stealing beats is just something you shouldn’t do
its almost like being a fucking emo bitch saying L O L O L O L O than going home being a snitch and going and putting on a P O L O

sweet stuff.  it'd be even cooler if we could get like sound recordings up on here because it's so much better when you hear someone saying what they wrote, then when u just read it.

sorry bout all the posting but i gotta pull out this one from 9th grade when i got in school suspension for laughing during some academic/athletic powerpoint.  the beat is kinda weird so when you read it, it prob won't flow at all, but w/e.

They told me "smiles are contagious, so watch where you grin.
Please hold back your laughter, because that's where smiles begin.
You're being disrespectful, you'll get suspended for that,"
So i put on my helmet and prepared for combat.
It was me Vs. them all, no one there to support me,
"Go keith" is what i heard, but who it was i could not see.
The door closed behind and the office i walked in,
I couldn't hold back the laughter and again i started to grin.
"Tell me what's so funny, it just doesn't make sense,
Your actions were uncalled for, and to that i take offense."
"Sir if laughter is a crime, then please lock me away now,
I don't wish to be in a place where there's no smiles allowed."
So i sit in confinement, the classroom all the way down the hall,
Just myself and this paper, but i'm having a ball.

i really can't stop

so close to sleep, but im still here stuck awake.
can't finish my hw, no matter how many caffeine pills i take.
i got spanish, math, chem, and english too,
didn't even start social studies, and it's a quarter to 2.
NS in one window, pandora, and even AIM,
can't focus at all while playing the "line rider" game.
regresion,expanding binomials, who really cares?
i'd rather lean and rock wit it, in my computer chair.
if only i could translate these rhymes into real work,
i'd be an A+ student, you could consider me a dork.
but instead i procastinate, sitting here alone,
just trying to figure out the stupid authors tone.
A Tale of Two Cities, you know I could care less,
said it out loud and accidentally confessed.
"That's great to know Keith, here's a zero for a grade,"
man if rhymes were schoolwork...  i'd have it made

here's a throwback from microsoft notepad i just found.  true story that happened about three years ago.

"take a hit of this," they told me when i was 13
"im alright guys, that stuff just ain't my scene,"
"don't be a baby, it will open up you mind,
reach your hand in the bag and see what you can find."
"ok, fine whatever," i reached inside,
then hands around my face, they covered up my eyes.
brought me to the ground, thought it was over for me,
wrestled around, but enemies i couldn't see.
BB's to the back, and a rock to the head,
all because of drugs, their lives were mislead.
cocaine, heroine, maybe some extasy,
couldn't open up my eyes but i felt them next to me.
money all gone and i'm left in the street,
the sound of a car, then the scampering of feet.
woke up a new person, but i was still 13,
was i taught a lesson, what did it mean?
then it hit me, like my head and the stone,
i gotta stay clean, leave those drugs alone.
it was a harsh lesson, but it taught me well,
could've been in jail, instead in sports i excel.
i often think back to that day when i was 13,
a defining moment in my life, god kept me clean.

i was walking to meet up my friend who lives pretty far away, but there's like a shortcut if you walk through the woods.  so right as im about to go into the woods on the path or w/e there was just this group of kids standing there doing w/e, so i tried to just walk by and not say anything. but then they started talking to me so i knew if i tried to keep walking they would've followed me.  finally peer pressure got to me and i was bout to give in when one kid put his hands over my eyes and then everything else happened. 

didn't really get hurt too bad from the bb's  cause i had a winter coat on, but the rock hit me right behind my left ear and left a pretty big gash.  i just told everyone i hit a rail when i was skateboarding.

definately not a fun night.

Why put a trigger, especially on a nigger, when all he can do is use his mind to think bigger. some may think of rape or some may thing of death, thats why all young rappers wear their bullet proof vests. violence is wrong, and for all you young crackers, dont pull out a gun, pull out a condom and fuck for the soul of marshall mathers.

jesus please, save the earth. its stopping the lives of millions and taking over many births. if you dont stop this now, many more will die, even before they can see first light in their fresh opening eyes. babies wont say a word before they die in a blaze of bullets, all they will do to rock is die until someone will stop to pull it. the trigger i mean, many people own guns, many are for fun because they like to see bitches run. so in conclusion, jesus save my life, because before you know it ill own a 9 and shoot this asholes wife.

im tempter to just post my whole "notepad of rhymes" from 6th and 7th grade, but i'll wait.  here's an early one.

school started on september 8th, it was the worst day of the year.
then we flew thorugh october and november, and now we're already here.
yes you know its almost time, the time we all love most.
its the season that's celebrated all over the world, not just coast to coast.
it starts to get colder, lights go up, and happiness fills the air.
some people may deny liking christmas, but on the inside they really care.
this time brings family close together, and all other things are forgot.
for we think about the things we love and have, instead of what we have not.
now i'll end this on a special note, that goes from me to you.
slow down and take a look around, this is the wise thing for you to do.

i can't stop, i won't stop.

Poetical floetry i write in hope that young minds i'll transform,
I refrain from profane language, I stray from the norm.
Great stories with good meaning, that's all i love to write,
A flow smoother than a baby's bottom, listening's a delight.
So open up your ears and get ready to learn,
Real rhymes with meaning, that's my only concern.

Lack of precipitation, nothing falling to the ground,
Searching the Right Coast, no snow to be found.
What can i do when mother nature plays games with me?
Extended forecast not good, no climate changes i can see.
It's supposed to be winter, but all i see are temps too high,
Weather above 50 all week, and i'm stuck asking "why?"
Could it be global warming, or just a terrible year?
Turn on the news and "Record high today" is what you'll hear.
No skiing for me and i just can't sit still,
Weather so hot i can't even relax and chill.

yeah for dinna i had a bunch of beans
these delicious legumes definitely werent cleaned
an hour after the bowl movements hit me
so i ran to the toilet because i was gunna shit me
as the poop ran out i was feelin pretty relaxed
im definitely not gunna eat beans for snacks

when the smell reached my nose, my stomach just snapped
i was sittin on the toilet, and i was puking in my lap
as far as i knew, this was a first for me
but then it got worse and i had to pee.
this made things complicated because i had to get up,
and then my urethra began to erupt.

well i never really wanted to show anyone this, just because it's too personal for me, but this being "The 'Official' Poerty/Freestyle/Remix Thread."  i'll post it.

there are some things in life that you can't un-hear or un-see
"Death of a family man" is a sight that will never leave me.
printed on the cover of the paper on a sunday,
nothing ever affected my life as much as that one day.
how can he be gone, we just talked on the phone,
never in my life have i felt so alone.
"i'll see you in a little bit" was the last thing i said,
next time we met again, dad in a hospital bed.
he stayed with us just long enough so we could say goodbye,
too many thoughts going through my head, words in short supply.
i knew it was impossible, but i waited for him to reply,
what do you say to someone who's about to die?
held on long enough for my sister to get there too,
last time together as a family, and everybody knew.
tears still overflowing in my eyes so i can't see,
yet "death of a family man" is a sight that will never leave me.

ha here's one from before i bought my own surfboard after many years of wanting one.

Bodysurfing was real great, bodyboarding was cool too,
But I needed something more fun, I needed something new.
Sure I've always heard of surfing, but didn't think it was for me,
I thought it'd be way too hard to tame the aggressive sea.
These surfers always seemed so chill, just relaxing at the beach,
Being a freckled Irish boy, this lifestyle seemed out of reach.
And then one day my best friend got a board from his cuz out west,
I was way more stoked than him, I told him he was blessed.
"Those boards cost mad money bro," I told him it was sweet,
He didn't seem to care at all, his face solid like concrete.
So I asked if i could use the board, and he let me take it out,
I don't think he knew what he was missing, he didn't know what surfing was about.
So I paddled around all day, and tried to get a ride,
I just couldn't seem to do it, numerous times I was denied.
Mother nature had beat me up, In one day I lost all my pride,
I told myself I quit surfing, little did I know - I had lied.
Next thing I know I'm riding waves, having more fun than ever before,
My friend saw the great time I was having, wouldn't let me ride anymore.
He took the board away from me, I could never ride it again,
Sure he learned how great surfing is, but we're no longer friends.
I'm still longing just to surf, haven't done it since that day,
Not only did I lose a friend, my soul was taken away.
So I'm stuck here without a board, it's been four years since then,
Who cares that I lost a bro... I want to surf again.
