its pretty worthless so far, but not to subtract anything from the park crew. By the weekend it should be poppin. I was up today they had a down box, 2 flat boxes, 3 flat rails, and 2 stall things.. The snow was also pretty wacked out. Central should be open by next weekend and i would recomend waiting for that.
I just got back from Summit West, all of the rails/boxes were ride on. I didn't see any skiers hitting them when I was there, just some boarders eating shit most attempts. The snow was good, definitely worth checking out except for the traffic, it took an hour and 10 minutes getting from the parking lot to Issaquah. Will be back up this weekend for sure, lots more snow on the way. Heard from a supervisor there that next weekend there will more than likely be more stuff opening up, Summit Central and maybe Alpental if we're lucky.
We're getting bored of west quick. the rails and boxes are good fun yes, but there's WAY too many snowboarders (and skiers) in there that it gets crowded. and none of the chairs seem to work.
You guys shoulda rode west today... SICK well, as sick as west can be.. which is not that sick. but the snow was light and there's a lot in the woods off to the side. It's like small mountain big mountain.
