dumbasses killing jumps

yea im from a smaller hill and they are just starting to get shit together and develop a terrain park. the biggest problem is that kids ride over the table or actually any jump. one time i was hitting three small consecutive tables and this damn little kid is sloooowly riding over it while his supportive mother watches him. so i go off and hit it like a hip, but to the other side. Then, this lady goes crazy on me and shit.. she was like didnt you see my kid? and i was like yea she was in the way. she was like yea you dont own this hill and i was like yea w/e and she skied away. So anyways, the point to my story is that somethign should be done at many hills with this problem. i think they should make you have a special pass or something to show people at the top of the park. what do you think?

thats all that happens,they ruin our jumps by just riding slowly over it,a bunch of little fucks ruined our qpipe we had made while we went up to eat,they thought it was a jump to go far and ended up taking all the vert off which made us work for nothing and we bitched at them and we ended up gettin in shit for not sharing stuff on the hill

they should build roller parks, just fill a hill with giant moguls. Let the kids get lost in there.

What if we put lasers on the backside of every lip? When the kid skis down the lip they'll get cut in half. Maybe they'll get the idea then.

even better the beginers the stand on top of the tables, cut you off while going towards a jump after you just hiked the hill, or my favorite, the kids that fall but decide to lay there, laguh about it and not move for like 5 minutes,and noone knows they are still back there untill your about to land on them and plant your edge in their face... come ski in Nj and you will understand my pain.

ya, me and a friend were building up asmall jump, making it big. It took us about 2 1/2 hours. then we rode down and took the chair up to hit it, when we got back to the terrain park, a stupid snowboarder was beating down the lip, and completely destroyig it, so him and his little 7th grade friends could hit a 'bump' not a jump

yea here shit got so bad i had to take it into my own hands and re buid lips. as i did this though i took snow from right behind the lip so the kids would fall in a hole.

i also hate it when old people go into the terrain park, with their florescent onepiece suites, and their 200cm skis, and just ride over the jumps. it is actually funny to see old people think they are cool(except they clearly arent), and it fucks up the jumps

Here at Mammoth there is a group of snowboarders who think they are so badass, but they ride up the jumps and then come back down switch. Then there's the old people who hit the biggest jumps, totally case it, their skis pop off on top of the jump while their bodies roll forever, then they laugh and hike back up the jump nice and slow waving at everybody who just wants to kill them.


Would you like freedom fries with that?

no no, you have to take one of the little kids and string him up on a 20 foot high pole at the entrance to the park as a warning. stick poles into him to get the little kids really scared.

my soccer coach was telling me about a mountain he skied at with like a 6foot cliff that was the only way to get to one side with the park and shit...pretty cool idea

The prblem is, our mountain builds a mini park for the little kids to learn on, its got a mini pipe and stuff, but they want to look all cool and good so they dont even use it, they use our park.

yeah i think this gapping idea would work out well, but have a small park with crap jumps for the other people. but the old guys are definatly the best part of going into the park, i laugh my ass off when i see them.

yeah kids and parents like that fuck up the chance of our mountain getting a bigger park. Cannon finally went bigger this year, but everyday some litte kid falls off a step down and their parents filp out and so does the ski patrol. it pisses me off to cause little kids like that crowd the top of the park and its almost like waiting in a fuckin line that doesn't move.

There should be a beginner's park - smaller jumps and flat rails 3 inches off the ground. That way all the spastics and semi-retarded kids can hang out there with mommy while the rest of us hit the bigger booters and witch up the kinked shit

yea, i was building this kicker up to a lunchtable and these snowboarders came at me AS I STOOD BETWEEN THE JUMP AND THE TABLE!!!!! i fucking ducked real fast, but as i was wearing my employee coat, i didn't shovel their asses out......

somtimes working at a ski resort blows.....
but then i get a free pass, so its all good...

having the drops into the park is a good idea or you could do what okemo does. have all blacks and double blacks surround the park. the only way in is a black or double black. wokrs faily well. eliminates the kids that suck but not the old men.

i did some coaching this year, and it was hilarious because it was for 'snow stars' or formerly Nancy Greene ski something...

anywho i made sure we were the only ones that hit the jumps, and i told them if they hit it with speed that they would get to come back to the park. After they went i showed off doing rails, but it was good because i whipped them all into shape

At this one mountain they built three kickers in a line going from tiny to big but all the kids ski across the big one to get tot the little one. Then they turn and stop on the landing slope, making it really moguly and crap to land. They clog up the pipe and ruin the tranistion. And make the skiier cross course so bumpy it's dangerous. They also cut infront of you when you're waiting to go. It doesn't help that the park is right beside the main run down to the resort so it's even worse. phew bitching over.

yeah i had hiked way up the hill for this jump at okemo and I was bombing down and this little snowboarder cuts right infront of me 2 secs before i hit the jump and i barely dodged him, so i stop and start screaming at him and he got scared and rode away, that day i was pissed off because i helped this girl whos ski was off and her mom was screaming at her saying 'weve been here for 156 mins and you still can get it on' and the girl was just crying so i popped her binding out and she got it on and her mom starts yelling again, at me or the girl i dont know, but that made me really angry and i called hera fucking bitch and skied away

park passes at blue seem to keep the stupid shit out pretty well, except for a couple exceptions. at brighton we just wanted to have the guy at the top of the Y hook verify that your good enough then anyone who sucks gets gangbeat and shun from the park. Something really does need to be done though.

yeah shit does need to be done but a begineer park is a good idea cause if u keep every little person who sucks out of the park than no one will progress, but all that learing stuff should take place somewhere seperate from the big park

Yeah what whsitler does sounds really good although I dont know personally. I hate it when I build a booter and snowboarders just come down to try and hit it. When that happems I just stand on the jump not letting them hit it.

a beginer park is a great Idea. the drop after the lip seems like a good idea, but they had that at my hill. kids fell off the back of the lip 2-3 feet. they got hurt, so they changed the jump to be safe for them. making it a triangle shaped jump, so that if you got more than 3 ft of vert you would coast past the landing and land flat. I'm still bitter about that.

okemos park rules. they got the hard trails surrounding the noreaster park and they have two smaller parks, an intermiediate one and a really small beginner one and MOST of the little dorks and snowlerbladers stay out of the big park. but then there is the occasional ones you get. the table at the bottom was like 60 somethin feet this year. i finnaly got the balls to hit it and you have to come like a good 1000 feet down the mountain to hit it enough to clear it. some little bitch snowplowin his way along come out from behind a jump and slowed me waaaay the fuck down, i had to hit it like a spine and land on the side, i was pissed cuz i had the nerve to do it right then and there. i yelled at the kids mom and she gave me the finger. i called her a dyke and she chased me. i fled for a while just fuckin around with her cuz shes not gonna catch me then when she got close i stopped short and she went zoomin past me cuz she sucks and i never saw her again. damn that was a lot of bitchin but i dont give a fuck. a park pass should be required for all mountains everywhere, different ones for the pipes too, cuz i hate the pipe and including it in the park pass would jack the price. if mountains did that they would have more revenue as well cuz id pay 5-10 extra bucks to keep little kids outta the park.
