Just wondering if anyone has skied on those skis yet. Looks like they might be the best twins Atomic has made yet...anyone?

A guy at Pilckuck (Brian) said he was riding Thugz and they were dope but they seem way to fat for normal use.

my Dad picked up the Pimps for this year. They're in the shop getting mounted right now. Super sick ski from just handling them. It's pretty funny, my 55 year old dad riding twin tips called Pimps. But he's a good skier and def. will rock them. He thinks he's going to be the oldest guy on the mtn with twins.

He's right. I thought I'd really like the Thug, but the ski is much more sluggish than other fats. It would probably be great in pow, if that's all you ski. For what it is worth, I ski the Scott P4 (in a 191) and the Line Prophet 100. Both - at least for me - are much more fun than the Thug.
Nothing against Atomic, tho, 'cause I like their other skis and the Pimp is sweet. I could easily make that ski my daily driver.

The thugs feel slugish to most cause people mount them too far back, I don't recommend mounting htem any further back than the center mount line Charley and I actually have our mounted True center which is about 2.5 cm ahead of the center mount line, they ski much shorter when mounted there and far less sluggish! Also it's a ski that wants to be skied FAST!
