mount snow has a web site by the way..... kinda tells you whats going to be open.
Current Conditions and Weather (as of Wednesday, November 22, 2006 )
Comments:
Ideal snowmaking conditions prevailed throughout the night hours last night, and the guns will run today as long as the temperatures remain below freezing. Over two feet of snow has gathered under the guns and beginning this evening, Elia and his grooming team will transform the stockpiles into a beautiful corduroy blanket. Like icing on a bundt cake, baby!
We are opening tomorrow. Three lifts will service intermediate and advanced terrain, including our Upper Canyon, River Run, and Chute trails on both the Main Face and North Face of the mountain. Downloading on either the Summit Express or Canyon Express lift will be required to get back down to the base. We’ll also have one lift servicing beginner terrain in our learning area. Keep checking mountsnow.com for the most up to date and accurate weather from the summit.
Weather: partly sunny and brisk, great for blowing snow!
we called the mtn today and they said that there wont be any rails. and theyre only gonna have upper canyon and chute and river run open. you have to down load down the canyon quad. sounds like poop
ok so i guess now theyre putting a 16ft flat box on upper canyons. but who knows. tomorow should be interesting. chompers and i can tell u about after tomorow.
just got back from snow. Chute and canyon are open with a small pseudo-park on canyon. 16 ft down box, a little dumb bonk thing, and an attempt at a jump that was made by some kids I think. Good times though
