F*ck Marker

1st day with my 1200 free's center mounted on foils, 5th run, stomped a clean c-rail, landed switch, and the heel pieve that holds the brake's together, where you step, popped off. Not fixable. I walked my ass down from the Jib park at copper. So say it for me... FUCK MARKER!!

is it the little metal thing under the brake? cuz mine broke there too, well the brake just dont work, same with my friend's. i dont have your some model though.

^^ it's the plastic heel piece on top of the metal that popped off.

I guess i could have... I left right after, went back to denver and got it fixed sorta, but i guess i coulda done it their.. it was gonna be a short day anyway.

mine broke in the same spot 3 times last  year.  i was riding at a din of 8 and a half, and i was still pre-releasing like no other (i'm not THAT big)  but i got scratch 120's now, riding at a din of 6.5, no pre-release yet.

the same thing happend to mine. i dont ski them anymore but i could just every time i come out i have to play around with the heel piece to get the brake to even some what work. marker sucks

well always tell him that 1) bindings are super important for safety since theyre holding you, even in the park or at high speeds or what have you... and 2) if they break and shit, how are they a good deal?

Bindings do break. Also if you didnt know Marker has a five year warranty so look at the bright side you can get new ones.

yes and you will be without bindings for 3weeks to 6 months as your warranty is pending, its much easier if they just don't break at all

same fucking thing happen to me 3 peices in a week i sw 3d a jump and it broke off next week sw 7 a jump land perfect break go get a new peice before big air 30 minutes later sw 7 land perfect break i was fuckin pissed and then i hit my head and blacked out thankyou marker

same shit happened to me a few weeks back, i think theyre the same model as yours too, little barrel jib, came out switch and the heel peice snapped off at the metal right as i landed, and it says its titanium too, those motherfuckers

titanium doesnt make them any stronger. the heel is just not a good design for landing switch. currently, no one really makes a heel that will stand up well to landing switch. look/rossi are decent, but if you pop out switch, it still mangles at least the breaks really bad, if not the whole heel piece. and to the original poster, why would you get markers over look px12/rossi axial2 120s? my shop sells all three of those bindings for 169.95, so tell your dad that you can get a much better binding for what you are doing for exactly the same price.
