I use Firefox (2) so I'm not sure if this is a problem for a lot of people, it might just be restricted to me. Also, I know very little when it comes to programing or computers. Anyways, hyperlinking needs some work right now.
First, the process of making a link on NS is just too long. I think it would be much better if anything I just pasted in starting with a "www" or "http" just got linked automatically. Whenever I want to post a link of something, I copy the entire link, paste it into the box and then usually forget to delete the "http://" that gets left.
I would keep the link thing that we have right now, but to make it useful, can we add a new box that allows us to replace the entire address with a title? So instead of https://www.newschoolers.com we can have the link read "A Skiing Website!", but in blue, that acts as a link? That way, if we want to just post a quick link to something, we'll just copy the link into the text, where it hyperlinks itself, or if we want to make our post really nice and classy, we use the button we currently use now and give it a proper title and all.
Also, I frequently run into problems trying to type after I've posted a link. After I post one, I continue typing an attachment to the link after I'm done with it and want to write something else. Can you make it default to unlink the text after a link is posted? The Unlink button also is kinda buggy, sometimes it seems to work, other times it doesnt.
Anyways, yeah, just some user feedback to improve the site. I really like all the changes that have come around recently, keep it up, NS just gets better and better!
