ok so at the end of last season when the snow was getting soft i built a kicker on thi hill with my friends and started hucking and i was trying backflips and rodeo's for a first time.. i started to stomp the backflips so i was super pumped to bring some of these tricks into this season. until today i was on my mountains website and i find out that flips and any other inverted tricks are prohibited and result in the lose of ski pass!!! i think this is super gay!!! do your parks have this rule?
at my mountain, as long as you look like you know what your doing, they don't care. and they usually give you warning. worse comes to worse. just put your pass somehwere they can't see it and be like....i have been poching all day.
My hill has that rule too, but you usually can't get away with it because the lodge looks over the park and there's always ski patrols at the bottom watching. Not that you'd want to go inverted on any of the jumps at my hill....
haha
that sucks
its somethin with insurance
thats why dispite what people say
strattons park passes are realy dope
cus they let you do whatever you want
they could care less
they arent liable
A lot of hills are like that. My hill is the same way, but the lead ski patrol said you can't inverted, but you can go really really off axis *wink wink*

well one of the moutains here in michigan doesn care but the other does and the one that does has the best freaking park which really blows!!!! but i dont care i do it anyways no one cares just have friends keep watch when you do it
ya we have the same at my mountain, you need to get like a license... i really dont listen to it, just watch your back and if you do get busted im pretty sure he will give you a warning
Yes these laws are gay but what can you do? You can move out west when you're old enough. Our park never cared until some kid, who shouldn't even own twins, smashed his face trying a backflip.
Oh man that sucks. I never knew some places didn't allow backflips. Here in cali you can do backflips all day, nobody says you can't, I guess I'm lucky.
everything besideds back and front flips you can claim as "off axis" therefore its not invereted and they can do shit. and if your feet happen to come over you head you can just say it was an accedent and even dick patrollers wont do anything to you. If you want to throw backs just look and see whos around at first and stomp that shit. As long as you look like your being safe no one should bother you.
i think a few of them have that rule, but don't really enforce it. well, it was retarted. my friend (who snowboards - and is quite good actually), was in the comp. he was going to get at least 3rd place, and threw a huge rodeo, so they were like "sorry, inverts aren't allowed here" and disqualified him!
yo my mountain has that 2, i think its just to scare ppl away from trying them, because my friend was trying them last year for a while, and i dont think any ski patrol would say anything, and i actually saw a guy on the park crew do a rodeo
i was in ny and i was throwin corks and this fag patroller comes up to me and says anymore flips and i'm takin ur pass i told him what's up and he still didn't agree with me so i said fuck it adn left but most patrollers are only gunna say sometihng if u doin like stratight backs or lincons like rodeos corks and that good stuff they proley won't care
