so i just got my skis yesterday(fischer addicts) nd me and my friend were planning to ski on my backyard rails. would the rails damage the skis at all or would it not matter what i did?

well first off if you have rails in you back yard you obyiously do rails at the mountains so your skis are going to be used on rails either way!! but i use my old scarthc's in the backyard and my PE's at the hill

well i sold my old pairs to buy the new ones so i dont think tht i have back up pair. well it cant scew them up nymore than the rails at the mt. can right? if i'm using pvc and astro turf.

if there is enough snow in your yard then u should be fine. The rails wont do any damage to your skis if you built them right. I would recommend using your old pair though

u dont have any urban conditions skis. How is that possable. i have like 3 or 4 pairs. Ill sell u pair of straight skis with demo bindigns for 50 bucks

i wouldnt.  whenever i get new skis i never use them on anything slightly sketchy outside the slopes, backyard/urban, i dont know why, i guess i feel like im going to ruin them.  its kinda the same with new shoes

rails weren't made for skis to ride on them and skis werent made to ride on rails.. they'll obvioulsy get damaged if you ride rails enough

well what i usually do is i use my new skiis, then once they get shit i buy new ones and use my old shit ones for rails n stuff...... depending on what your doing you will shit your skiis up, just a box or rail sesh is fine , but then when u get into disasters and different shit like that then i owuld use my junks
