Whatever happened to Gaps?

Why dont people do gaps anymore, i mean that Windup films movie was like all gaps, and then there was candide with chads gap and the d 7, but there hasnt been much done recently. this sucks. i dont know where this is going...

skiers probably dont want to risk as much. Gaps are pretty risky. If you dont make it youre most likely gonna get hurt. Theyre pretty cool though.

gaps are preformed on a regular basis, and if anything they've only gotten bigger and more sketch, pep and mike D. have a whole section in front line devoted strictly to gapping ridiculously huge crevasses

ya what are you talking about honeslty?? lots of people still do gaps, more people hit pyramid this year than the years before you just dont see them as much because they aernt as common

u want to see a nice lil gap, check out Jan'03 Freeze, flip to Contenders and look at Isaak Hurst. The Galena Road gap looks pretty damn crazy!

Skateboarding isnt harder then rollerblading, it just has a slower learning curve because everytime you fall, you have to chase your skateboard to the other side of the skatepark

HAHAHA...I was watching old 'Clips of the Week' on TGR at school today and the clip titled 'SPLAT' is funny as hell. The guy tries backflipping that gap and just plows into the snow on the landing...just a little low...funny as hell...go check it out. And I think it was this last issue of Freeze where Pep or somebody throws like a 7 tail or something over that MASSIVE crevace...huge...LATE

now keep in mind i was heavily blazed throughout this whole story, but we were eatin lunch one day and they had clips of ski movies playin, i had never seen candide boostin over chads gap, i was sittin there watching in complete aww, i was scared the rest of the day from watchin candide slam into the wall (i think that happened), gaps are fuckin sick, and theyre still done

watch the frontline you dumb fucker, also, watch the prophecy and all the skis movies and you will see gaps, wind up movies were all gaps pretty much and since thay did not have a film this year beside SUPERPARK, there is not as much footage of gaps

the gaps in front line are sweet but they arent even close to falling in them. They had way more room for error than you would on something like Chad's Gap. The gaps in sm3 are still insane.

well no shit about the MSP gap section at pemberton, but other than that and TGR's occasional flick they've just kinda dropped in popularity, and i was wondering why you dont see them as often as you used to because they are just sick. Chads gap and Candide was epic.
