XXL did it, The Source did it, and BET did it, so why not VH1? On Friday, VH1 premiered the first in their Greatest Series, 50 Greatest Hip-Hop Artists, hosted by P. Diddy. They counted 50 artists that they believe are the greatest, with stories and accolades with each artists featuring commentary from Chuck D, Busta Rhymes, Ice-T, Nelly, Hammer, Grandmaster Flash, Outkast, Eve, Snoop Dogg, KRS-One and Afrika Bamabaata.
