My friend doens't know whether he wants to keep his PS3 or sell it. It depends how much money he can get. Here is all the info from him.

"I have a 20GB model PS3 for sale. I waited in line at the Gwinnett Best Buy on Pleasant Hill Road for 26 hours to get this at the Midnight launch, one of the first Playstation 3s to be sold in the entire country. I would like to sell this for $1,500. I was just looking on Youtube and you can actually see me in this video: http://youtube.com/results?search_query=atlanta+fox+5&search=Search , I am on the one with the dark blue hat with the white GT logo on it, from around 19 seconds to 28 seconds into the video. I called Best Buy today and the 2 Year Replacement plan costs 79.99, and it is still available for purchase for 28 days after the purchase date. The guy across the hall from me has one too, and he opened his up today and we played COD3, it was badass. This is a great system with a lot of features.

That's insane, I wouldn't pay the $600 Sony wants for them, video games are cool to pass the time and all, but no way I'm paying more for some video game system than I can get a whole new ski set-up for. And buying high demand items and re-selling them for profit is kinda douche-ish, no better than scalping concert tickets. Lame.

No reselling and ticket scalping are perfectly fine. It gets the people who want the product the most the product. Like at a football game, the most diehard fans will spend high prices to go to the game, so te best fans are at the game.

Sure you could buy a sick set up at that price, but I know some people on ere want a ps3 and Im trying to do my friend a favor.

Yeah, I know...capitalism and all that shit. But whatever, I still think it's pretty lame. But you should just take this to Ebay, that's what it's there for, and you'll get more for it there anyway.

seriously people look on ebay, there are none anywhere near the prices you are suggecting. there is on ending every 30 seconds, the most expensive ones going for around 2g's, and those come with like 8 games and an extra controller and shit.
