just tried them on at my shop and they fit really well. but what do you think is it too stiff for park?

wahoo an appropriate boot thread! well done. They'll work if you do like 50/50 or less, but if you spend the majority of your day in the park stick with a park oriented boot, like i think the flame is technicas more parkish boot. Believe me it seems better to have the nicer top of the line expensive boot, but your feet would much rather have the cheaper park boot. If you look at most of the pros they usually ride their companies cheaper park boot, like the foils (or now spks), or technica riders ride the flames, etc. the mags would be a sick all around and all mountain boot though.

^actually the burn is the park orientd boot, but im not sure if they have that for this year. but if u can get the burn and like tecnic's fit, deff get them

thanks, i will try the more "parkish" boot on, i ride about 50/50... i hab so much shin probs with my old boot(atomik m11)-does anyone know if the fire is harder or softer? and which one is it now?burn or flame?

if u can find the Burn, deff get those, they are a good park boot and will fit your needs. but they didnt make for this season, so they may be hard to find. but ask your shop, they prob could get you a pair.

maybe in flex, but not in features (such as the shock absorbing foot bed)

are you kidding me? corey vanular rindes on the lange comp 120s, or maybe the 100s, and those are high end race boots. most of technica's riders are on the diablo, and all the rossi peeps never rode rode the shiyty scratch boot from last year, they were all on the bandit series.
and it isnt always better to have the cheaper park boot. its better to have the boot that fits your foot the best, as well as your needs. if you charge into big jumps/ jibs in the park, your gonna want a stiffer/higher end boot.

I don't think they're bad for jumping (probably not great, either), a stiffer boot gives you more control over your skis. You can also adjust the flex on them too if the regular flex is too stiff for your taste.

i have a bunch of burns at my shop that i work at. without knowin anything about your foot i could suggest a few alternatives....but make sure u try them all (a given)
vento 10- 95 flex rating, little bigger fit than a flame but no worries its not huge
vento 8- 85 flex rating same deal with the 10 just different flex
nordica hot rod nitrous- 100 flex rating. little bit of shock absorbstion rubber underfoot

Pep fujas uses the Magma which is a 115 flex for tecnica

while i thought these boots fit me well, i also found the flex on them to be very BLAH. they are softer, but do not ramp up. there is a very deffinate wall in the flex pattern of the technicas, at least all the diablos ive tried on. to me, that is just screaming shin pain. if you like the fit of those, why not the krypton cross or pro? they fit similarly. far better boot as well.

the krypton fits nothing like the tecnica. First of all, the Krypton is alot narrower, a more equivelent fit to the diablo from dalbello is the proton. Second, the Diablo has a wider heel box than the Proton.

I just bought the Magnesium myself. The flex is adjustable from 100 to 90, which I think is pretty perfect. I was going to get the Magma, but I am switching over from the Raichle Flexon, and I think that that big of a step up in flex would just kill my legs, so I am going to the Magnesium First.

i have the diablo flames and love them. they are soft ebnough in the park (flex 80-90). If tecnica didnt end up making teh burn this year go with the flame.
