i love pc games(age of empires,flight sims,battlefied) but consoles kick ass to. how can you think playing an xbox 360 or ps3 on a huge plasma tv is stupid? its fucking awesome!

PC is fun....but to say that its less expensive is bullshit. If you don't have the right connection, or the right computer your games with lag forever. What i love about consoles is that the games are made within a specific spec. They are not made to over power the machine, soo your game does not skip, or lag. Computer games are a whole different story. You try playing quake 4, or doom 3 on an average home PC with the highest rez and see what happens. Thats my 2 cents.

Xbox360 has the better graphics/gameplay but I like the MMO aspect that PC's have (and it's fairly easy to hook up)

to bad pcs r really expensive and u have to upgrade them every couple of years at least to keep up with the games i love pc gaming but my graphics card just shit the bed so im incapacitated currently

That's actually one of my favorite aspects of PCs. I like upgrading as much as possible. In fact, I'm going to be making myself a new PC when Vista comes out. i personally like controllers better than keyboards, and i dont like computer controllers because they are too complicated, i just like to plug my controller in, sign into xbox live and rape kids, its that easy and that fun. but i'm not knocking PC gamers, go for it, i dont have a problem with it i just dont find it as fun. to each his own!

I agree with ya but i got to say that the consols are the new thing on the block and thats the larger money maker for many game making companies, so because of this many console games have better graphics than PC, another reason for this is becasue all consoles have great graphics cards, but wiht the PC games they can't have all that great of graphics because there are many people that do not have top of the line machines and if the PC game makers had great graphics than they would sell less games which = less $$$$. I do likie the PC better than any console just because of the varity of things that can be done on a PC.

PC's will always have better graphics. PC owners can always upgrade thier system, while for the most part, console owners have to deal with what they have until a entire new system comes out. Sure, a PC will run you $2000 easy, but everyone already needs a computer anyways. Why not just make the one you own your entertainment system and invest that $600 you would drop on a PS2 to give yourself a great processor and video card that smashes whatever the console can bring you? My PC also runs the games I loved many years ago (Planescape Torment!), while with a console, you need to find and hook up your old console (provided it still works). PC's are the way to go, no question.
And also, the mouse - sooooo superior. Sim City anyone?

anybody who is serious about pc gaming would have those problems solved already. and it is less expensive. if youre trying to get the "full experience" on a console you need a couple thousand dollars for the big screen sound system and everything else. buying a top of the line pc costs much less than an entire entertainment system. and thats if youre gonna buy an entirely new pc.
