Bowls on the lift

anyone got any tricks for smokin bowls on the lift in bad weather conditions? i dont know any so anything will help even if its the oldest trick in the book. haha

get a pipe that has a small screw on top with a little hole to put the flame through so it holds it in. and use one of those torch lighters. it makes it burn a little quicker but it gets the job done.

well the only real wind proof lighters are zippos, but i wouldn't suggest using a zippo to smoke a bowl, it will taste like ass, also a bowl with a screw on top is going to be metal, thats alos lame... why not just use your bowl pack to roll one for the lift ride?

i would think a lighter size torch would be better bc the flame is stronger and if you wear a helmet you could get your budy to hold it over the bowl to block the wind/snow i think that would work but i would do it in the woods

^Exactly...you should actually do that at all times. Way easier to burn one in the woods and lowers the risk factor of being caught. Plus it's way more mellow to burn one in the middle of a snow covered forest.

and make like a little weather shealter in side there

or smoke a blunt. or zip your jacket down half way then rotate it a little then use the upper unzipped part to cover the lighter/bowl and go for it.

If your jacket has pit zippers to wear you can get into your coatt hen your golden.  All you have to do is put your arms inside your coat with your bowl, zip up your front, the spark it and hit it its like your own little hot box jacket!

i suggest a J instead or a tree session..that does the job too

a little sesh is always good before building a big booter in the bc. soo fun, and you can just zone out and shovel snow all day. what i dont like about bowls on the lift is it makes the whole process too rushed. its like having a time limit to finish your bowl. its all about the bc bowl especially with a good view of a valley or other peaks and stuff

Dont get high on the lift. My friend got really high and fell off the lift and almost died. It was really scary. He was also hungover from New Years so It could have been a bunch of things that caused him to pass out and fall off.

first, i bet you have never smoked a J on the lift, and two, do to the woods... its sooo fun and mellow.

If you have a freakin huuuuge hood you can burrow inside of it, but so far only my Obermeyer jacket's hood is big enough for this feat. i will have to tree sesh this year as ive only smoked once at the mountain and my jacket was sooo big i just had to burrow inside

HAve ur buddy lean foward and place ur bowl behind him and have another freind block the wind with his hands till the bowl is cherried then pass it on.

its all about cutting out the mesh in the air zips, then zipping your head into the coat arms into the pit zips and light/smoke

can smoke in ANY weather this way

coats work for shelter, but i wouldn't bother with a tree sesh. they're good and all but i'd rather use my time on the lift usefully.

god made trees and smoke shacks fro a reason kids.

keep the trees in the trees more peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, less exposure, plus its so great that immediatley afterwards you points your skis down something awesome.

you can stick your face in your jacket and stick your hands up from underneath and do it.... or open up your coat cuff near your hands hold the bowl to your face and use your other hand to light it.. or.. if your up for it.... carry a magnifing glass and if its sunny.. well think of when you used to kill ants and shit... that will work on the lift and no butane taste. or better ... tell the lifty "mystery stop" and light a joint...
