What's this shortcut key?

i made a post in the apple cult but this one is quicker. i'm in final cut and i need to know the shortcut key to get back to the standard layout. it says "^U" but i don't know what that means. i've tried pressing shift+6+U and apple button+U and apple button+6+u but it's not working. anybody help a brother out? click on the pic to enlarge

no no i know what it has to do with...i just don't know the shortcut. like most of the time after the option it shows the shortcut key, and it does so in this case, but i don't know what that short cut key means.

nawww we're the green team. we just scored a sick goal. actually we scored a lot of sick goals this year. that's why i'm making a highlight vid.

I don't know if you got it to work, but if you didn't...change your shortcuts...fcp's original shortcuts are not always that good.
Like if you have worked with Photoshop, Illustrator etc in the past, the Undo shortcut is cmd+z. In final cut, the original shortcut to Undo is cmd+w. Change it, make your shortcuts similar to other softwares you use.
