k this is what im doing. I'm going for the rail and before the rail I hop and spin 90 degrees and usually what happens is either one leg slides out of control or I go out of control and slip then i fall on my ass. and when i do this i ain't going to fast as in like jogging speed
aite this happens to everyone. i was always falling back, so i jus leaned mor foward. den my feet wer goin crazy, so i spread like normal and jus adjusted. do wat u see t-heed does. he has it pretty figured out.
yeah, left foot forward is much more common than right. I have my right foot forward because I snowboard goofy, and it feels more natural.
The key is to not focus on actualy balencing but instead look at the end of the rail. Usualy you think the rail is gonna be stickier than it really is, and to compensate you lean back. Try leaning more forward.
you just not commiting...i did the same thing..im not a pro at rails now but im alright..once you get it the first time you just gain confidence and it just happens
if you get more speed its easier i think.... dont huck or anything, take it easy but GET LOW ... speed and relax... dont be afraid to fall or else you will
wow really because most of the people i ski with go right foot forward. damn that weird... maybe i am insanely confused... spending the last 5 hours in the library will do that to you
