I was wondering if you guys know anything about Capitas stairmaster. My friends say its good I was just wondering if one of you guys have ridden or know someone who has ridden one
capitas legit man its a cool company, i personally have never ridden one but ive ridden other capita boards and they were solid. i image the stairmaster is like all other jib specific boards rides very flexible with a more skateboarding influenced style. if thats how you ride go with it. check to see how wide it is to and see if you like that. other than that check the price compared to other companies jib boards because you probably wont be able to tell that much of a difference between them.
The Stairmaster's pretty much a jib board in the purest sense. Think the K2 World Wide Weapon or something like that. Here at Creek, I've seen kids hit the bigger jumps in the park with them, but I wouldn't really rely on them for hucking 7s or anything like that off 60 footers. When I picked one up in my local shop, it had a flex completely geared for jibbing and little else. The fact that the torsional flex is so soft means that it's not gonna be the most reliable thing if you're gonna be railing turns outside the park. The one jib board this year that I've heard good things about outside the park (for a jib board) has been the Rome Artifact, Transworld Top 10 for this year and one of my friends who rode one at camp this year liked it so much that he bought one for this year.
