i have the 155s on my fujis and i never really looked at them, but im sitting here thinking how the hell does the toe piece work?. from wut i remember it doesnt move at all(like the other rossi and look bindings how the little thing where the toe goes in moves side to side), so why is there a din adjuster on it? bascily how does the binding work in general. like i said ive never really looked at them. im really curious to know. i could be comepletley wrong with what im saying though. any one?
alright this is TOTAL speculation in terms of what I've seen from my toe peice. The toe peice only has side to side release right? if you turn the toe peice upside down you should be able to see the spring in there. The toe peice will release when it reaches a certain compression as a result from the twisting motion.
its not that complicated. its just like a Salomon toe. the toe piece is mounted on a pivot. it turns. your spring wants to keep it facing straight (its a cam mechanism).
alright thanks dude i just thought that the little wings on the toes didnt move, and i thought the little piece its mounted on didnt move but you explained it soo thank very much sir.
