Ive got the exact same situation going on, gained ten kgs this year and i'm vegan. Fucken uni = drinking 3 nights a week and no exercise, except the occasional surf.
If you dont go to the gym to atleast work your gut, then do situps and cruches. 2-3 times a week getting a burn in will reduce it, try to eat healthy too i guess?
a lot of use exercising your abs will do when you still have a layer of fat over the top. reduce your fat with cardio and eating healthy then you can start the abs.
^ well he said his alcohol intake is going to be the same and a new diet wont do the trick alone. yes cardio will reduce fat in some areas, but unfortuantly the stomach is a difficult zone to work on. building muscle mass in an area burns the fat around it as energy, cardio alone wont burn the fat in the stomach region, but definatly do it for your bodies sake.
Once the snow season comes around, go and pound out some top to bottom bumps runs. Its a mission, but it gets you uber fit, helps with your balance and gets rid of the gut.
Or just start doing lots of coke, speed and pills. Then you dont feel like eating or drinking anything apart from water.
SNAP!
haha im not fat damn im actually pretty skinny, 6'1 168, and i even go to the gym at least 3 times a week, im just not seeing any improvement mostly in my lower abs, I don't wanna be jacked , just a little more cut
oh dang your pretty skinny. I'm 6' 175 but i run track so im pretty sure it isn't fat. Just keep hitting the gym, and supplemtn lifting with cardio because it will help burn off the fat above muscles, especially your beer belly. My brother had to get a job so he ran everyday over the summer and lost around 15-20 pounds to look better for the interview. He was 6'3-6'4 215ish and he got down to 200 i think. Running is clutch. And don't run on a treadmill, they suck
