Summer Road Skiing

Today i used my street skis that i made. i bought some old skis at a yard sale, then i bolted some skateboard tucks on the bottom of both skis then went for a run down a hill. Took a few times to get it. but it was sweet be able to crave with skis agian.

Im gonna be working with streetski this summer on some sponsorship things. I plan on helping to produce a slightly different version with more space for grinding underneath.

See the ad in freeskier next year, i think these could either be really sick, or really gay. We'll see!

you'd destroy your ski boots if you fell...

I just go grass skiing in my yard or just go up to Mt. Hood on real snow during the summer.

Wow, I just noticed that the horribly gay roller blade imitation above has breaks on the bindings....I understand that they're actual ski bindings...but if it were me I'd take my breaks off. What the fuck would you need em' for...just incase your plastic rollerblade pops off and starts hauling ass down the 'slippery' pavement? I'd rather rollerblade...and I feel dumb for saying that.

ha i watched destroying america today after like 2 years of not watching it and i always get a laugh out of the roller blader part. if anyone has seen it, they know what im talkin about. the part at the end where he 180s on the sidewalk and falls down is the best..

here is the deal. I have been asked to attempt the world height record on these things, on a step-up jump in boulder. It is part of the memorial day thing. I will be meeting with the inventor of these on saturday in Denver to give them a try in a skatepark, take some photos, and decide if I want to use these things and attempt the record.

I think these can be cool, or really gay. I'll try to get a report from denver on saturday night for all you guys.
