MSN not working, someone help me out here

Ok well for the past week or so, msn won't sign on with any email. (its windows messenger live) Ive tried uninstalling, restart, install, doesnt work. Im actually pretty good with computers and i have tried everything, anyone have any idea why its not working!?! (btw my email works on my friends computer on windows live messenger)

same thing happened to me earlier. i disconnected my internet, then tried again. i clicked troubleshoot and it said key posts were missing. i just waited and it ended up working. if you wireless, try getting on another network and see if if it works

and chapz, ive tried like all of that and nothing comes up, i just sits there and trys to sign on and nothing happens, ive left it on all night b4

Mine works fine.
And im not sure. But if MSN comes stock with windows, and most routers have ports already reserved for windows apps, unless you fucked with your own settings, it probably shouldn't be the router.

I have to login in twice inorder to use it. I try the first time and it says incorrent username/password and then I retry and it works fine. I uno, I'm on a mac.

you don have windows messenger? it comes on all PCs, try and download msn 7 or something instaed

if that doesnt work, and you have internet. go to google, type in e-messenger and use that. it works through the internet, but you can still talk with people

yeah ok 7.5 works, thanks chapz, but i tried then to upgrade to windows live, and it still didnt work. So fuck it, msn 7.5 yeeee
