With all the amazing graphics that are going into skis these days, it is only a matter of time before bindings catch up. So, in order to be ahead of the curve, I used my trollish artistic skills to splatter some paint on my binders.
In the process I realized what a unique canvas the binding is, and am certainly looking forward to people who have a bit of skill in the art department creating a fresh look for their bindings.
Either Fischer Addicts or Scott P4s. Orginally, they were for some Ak Enemies, but that didn't work out. I am leaning toward the P4s right now, and I will do the heel pieces at some point. I was actually thinking of doing some sort of argyle on the heelpieces, but that depends on the time I have.
Just think, a Madsteez print put onto a binding with a Madsteeze print on the ski? That would be sick. Or, the bindings could be meant to blend into the artwork of the ski and add a three dimentional aspect to it.
