MSU and illegal music downloading

Hey im a freshmen at MSU and im really starting to get pissed off at the fact that i cant use limewire or any other free music downloading program in the dorms. I heard there was some magical way that you can configure the program to make it work, but im not a nerd so i dont know how to do it. anyhoo if someone feels like telling me how i can make this shit work i would be appreciative

I never had that problem i got over half my music from sharing through the dorms network.
