aite, this summer i worked my ass off getting a camera to shoot with, a crew (i ges) and skis and shit and wasting all my damn money. now, some deushbag son of a bitch stole my stole my GL2 along with ALLLL of my lenses. he prolly was waiting outside my house or something and got in through the fukin garage door when we opened it. yes im glad he was no pedophile or serial killer or anything but now my winters been pretty fuked up along with the loss of 4000+ dollars of my possessions. therefor, i will never jack another thing again... i know the pain. FUK THEIVES AND ROBBERS AND STEALERS AND WATEVA!
if it got stolen in your house wont home owners insurance cover it?
but that really sucks, i hope whoever stole it gets caught and becomes somebody's bitch in prison
No, if i bought it legally with tax and shit yes; but since it was purchased from a skater who wanted to sell one, no. trust me i tried and our insurance is a bitch.
It's probably someone who lives close to you or you even know. Put out wanted fliers and a reward. I did it and mad kids came to me when someone stole my radar detector. They are grimy ass fuckers so they ratted out their "friend" for $50.
try to get it back under home owners insurance, it might be hard to convince the cops you bought it legit from a store, but its worth a try... I know when my friend got all his cd's stolen (around 1000 cd's) he just made a list of all the cd's gave it to the cop and insurance gave him his money back, no questions asked about where he got them or anything, might be different with a camera tho...
It has to be one of your friends or someone that knows you have a GL2. Put up flyers that says you'll play like 50 bucks and hope that someone rats the kid out.
If thats the only thing they stole I would bet they knew you had it. I would consider the kid who sold you the camera and any one he told (his friends) as suspects.
nah not one of me homies or even people i know. only a select few people knew i had a GL2, and kole wasnt one of em. and brah please dont fuk wit me cuz i would come and kill you and ask questions later aite? nah fa real, i prolly wont find it tho cuz he mite of sold it too. oh jea and i said he stole my camera and lenses. 4000+ of my possessions
create an investigation and finger print anything he might have touched, it could workout, especially since u lost 4000 dollars, thats shitty, so inspect for finger prints and get them checked, also get the cops involved. Puting flyers out would be a great start also.
So, to get this straight: you think that someone who didn't know you had an expensive camera just tried to rob you at random, then they saw your camera, knew what it was, and took it and its lenses and NOTHING else?
You had better think about this. If that is all they took, that means they were looking for it and knew you had it. If only a few people knew you had it, then you better start shaking down those people.
It was definetly someone you knew. It was one of your friends, don't doubt them. Also why would you buy it from a local skater? I am pretty sure he stole it too. If you insurance company is at least somewhat reputable, then you should be able to get a paper signed by him saying that he transferred ownership for an amount of money. The insurance company will call him up, get all his info, verify it and cut you a check. It is annoying, but they should do it.
goddamnit, not 1 person has understood its a joke yet... incase you havent realized, i underlined my possessions; meaning ma shit, aite? the bastard took alot of dvds, pretty much looted ma parents room, stole a few dresses from my mom, stole some of my pants, jacked some of my dads shoes (bigger feet than me or my friends so... shut up.
