i have been looking at both and was wondering if the scott p4 at 191 is basiclly the 189 ak enemy? i know the length diffrence but i heard k2 runs 2cm long, so the ak enemys would be 191 as well. can anyone back that up? also anyone flex both the skis? how do they shape up?? anyone ski the p4? im thinking of trying something new. thanks
i don't know the answer, but i've seen lolo use p4s in the pipe from time to time so i doubt it. i can't imagine any of the k2 guys using the ak for pipe...
there again, now that i think about it, k2 don't have any world-class pipe skiers on the factory team: is this why they don't make a great pipe ski? sorry to hijack the thread, but its kinda interesting- i never thought about it before. i mean armada-pipe cleaner. salomon-dumont/spk. dynastar- tms/dc pros...
The P4 has two titanial sheets in it, to stiffen it the fuck up, much stiffer than the AK Enemy...but now that I look at them, the dimensions and sidecut radius are nearly (if not totally) identical...interesting.
That may be, I've never ridden them...but to my knowledge, the AK Enemy has no such metal in it's construction, so my first instinct is to say that the P4 is a stiffer ski than the AK Enemy.
