Replying to RIPPIN' STYLE HOLMES....
I was hanging out with Blake at the trampoline training ground for future pro shreds last night and I took notice of something. There were a about a dozen young kids (like 10-12 years old) in Blake's group.
Not to sound like a dick here because, I too am a skier, BUT...
Already, at such a young age, the snowboarders in the group were concerned about having good, fluid style, and then making it their own style. Whereas, the skiers in the group were consumed with spinning more rotations, faster and harder thus throwing style in general out the door. Blake was doing everything in his power to coach the kids, and make them be more style oriented rather than chucking themselves into the foam pit and landing on their craniums.
So, why is this?? Can someone enlighten me to why skiers are so worried about doing shitty looking 900's vs. a nice, smooth, controlled 3?
Just thinking.
