listen to all you idiots, "thats a douchebag move by orage" are you fucking kidding me? This may be the ski industry but it is a "INDUSTRY" that means buisness. This was a buisness move, orage saw the opertunity to close in on a part of the market they wanted and had the means to do it, so they did. Thats how buisness works. Yea its kinda shitty that Siver wont be making stuff any more, but lets face it, there is some pretty big money to be made in the skiing world and orage wanted a bigger part of that.
That's too bad. It really wasnt the greatest quailty though. I couldnt even handle mine for a full season, i had to go get new stuff half way through. but they were good on the whole freestyle scene, so their presence will be missed.
god damn i love siver. but arent orage and siver owned by the same company so how can orage buy siver? but if they can/do buy siver i will still support them cuz they'll still make sick shit
and orage never bought siver, Coalission, the owner of orage bought siver a couple years back.
Just like Ahmer sport who bougth Salomon and how Quicksilver bought the rossignol group
i think that this has already been talked about...but hey why don't we talk about it some more. It makes you think about whats going on in the ski industry really. Companies like line, and Siver having a super hard time getting by. Is skiing really as big as we think it is, is it still a growing sport, or has it reached its peak. It makes you ask alot of questions about whats going on.
