Buy or Demo?

I used to live in Colorado and skied a lot. I have always had my own skis. I now live in Texas and only get to ski 5 to 10 days a year. I have an old pair of 1080's the orange ones from like 2001. I want new skis but I don't know if I can justify $600 for new skis and bindings. Should I just demo skis? I ski park half of the time. If I demo skis are the bindings going to be mounted too far back?

hahaha newbie, just demo some skis and get  a pair that you thought performed well.

buy some skis that will last you more then a year, and then you wont have to demo everytime you go skiing
